Agriculturalist urges youths to embrace small scale farming


A Lokoja-based agriculturalist, Mr Ademola Oladoyin has advised youths in Kogi to embrace small scale farming like fishery and poultry to earn a living.
Oladoyin gave the advice in Lokoja on Monday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria.
He said youths should be encouraged to embark on fishery and poultry and other farming activities that would not require big capital to establish rather than be seeking white-collar jobs.
Oladoyin revealed that some seminars on agriculture are underway in Kogi in the next few months, and enjoined youths to endeavour to attend the seminars.
Oladoyin also appealed to government at all levels to create empowerment programmes for youths in other to reduce restiveness and unemployment in the country
